I give wet with a small amount of dry mixed in. I've been trying to find a way to keep Cheddar & Devon satisfied with how much food he gets so he's not anticipating more food literally-all-day- long and getting into trouble looking for food. He's not hugely fat, but a bit pudgy and he was terrible when I decreased his portions.
Someone mentioned that pumpkin can be given as a low calorie filler. I bought plain pumpkin today but not too sure how to go about this.
How much do I add per meal?
Do I add it to every meal?
Can I give pumpkin for a long term or only a short time?
I also know that pumpkin can be used for dogs for either diarrhea or constipation.
Does pumpkin also have the same effect on cats? Will my cats get diarrhea if I give too much?
Sorry about all the questions.
