The dogforums crossover members will have seen most of these, but here are my pups, Crystal the three-year-old Papillon and Casper the five-month-old Alaskan Klee Kai (I'm dismayed that I can't select that as an option when creating a profile here for him, btw):

Thanks!

I think Casper's almost done growing now at five months of age... he's only gained one pound (and no height) in the past month. He's 10 pounds now and 13(ish) inches at the shoulder, putting him solidly in the "mini" category of AKK... exactly what I wanted.

Here's a picture from today showing size comparison with a papillon! Crystal does not want to give up her ball.

I'll have to get one of them standing side-by-side soon. He's just an inch or two taller than she is. :)

Hi Cranberry =)

I always like to see pictures of Crystal and Casper together. I know what the proportions are, but they still make Crystal look huge to me (in a cute way, like trick photography or something).

I love the kitten pic too.

It's annoying sometimes, though, Papilove! Around my city (which isn't very big), I probably get stopped two or three times per walk, but I took him to Halifax, Nova Scotia and we got stopped every few feet, heh... people always want to know what he is, how old he is, how big he'll get, where I got him... I'm tempted to make little cards and just hand them out. :p

First off, Welcome to the forum!
Your dogs are absolutely stunning as are the photos. I love how vibrant the colors are. :D

Thanks, Instinct! I took most of them with a Fuji Finepix f100fd, just a little point-and-shoot, but I find it produces amazing colors in the right light (none of those are retouched except the one in the snow -- the original was too blue and I had to fix it). They're not DSLR quality pics, but they'll do. That camera broke on me a couple weekends ago, so I just replaced it with its successor, the Finepix f200exr. :)

I heard it was attacked by hackers...something about some trojan viruses and such. All I know is that when I search for it on Google I get a warning that says "this site may harm your computer. Staying away until that warning is gone.

Ahhhh, thanks :)

Yes, I get that warning too. I wasn't sure if it was just my computer or a universal problem. I should take more notice of warnings, I kept on clicking on the link

I love you miniature husky. I'm on a waiting list to own one, but it is a looooooonnnnnggggg list. I love Caspers one blue eye and brown eye. Soo cute and Crystal's ear fringes are just beautiful. (I've been looking at a lot of paps on line just for fun and some of the paps I've seen, don't have the beautiful ear fringes like most of the paps I've seen on this forum.

Oh speaking of forums, welcome and I can't wait to see the difference in size when they are standing.

I have never seen an Alaskan Klei Kai before, but yours is absolutely stunning. Very unique looking pup.

Oh wow, gorgeous dogs! Where do you live? Are AKK's common? I'd love to know where I can find one in the US... They are beautiful!
