Hi everybody, I'm looking for some advice/ opininons. Our home is castle to two siamese -one boy and one girl- and a boy moggie we fostered and who ended up staying. Ran into him at the vets' one day, he'd been hit by a car and needed a loving home in which to recuperate. Now the siamese being mine and Lucky not being a lapcat mom's looking for a little soulmate for her to join our family. We had a persian female who had to pts middle last year due to old age and kidney failure. She was mom's lovecat, always lying near her, or on her lap and generally doting on mom.
Due to dad being slightly allergic to cat's hair another persian is out of the question. So now we're looking at among others burmese, (had one, also had to be pts due to old age), but the big question now is Boy or Girl? The two boys get along OK, not very well, but Mia my Siamese girl is a snob and refuses to make friends with poor Lucky. Also wandering whether to get a kitten, a young cat who could also be a playmate for Lucky who's about a year old or an older cat who's personality have been formed?

I think it depends entirely on the cat,my unrelated male cats tolerate each other purely because the younger, much larger, recently introduced cat is SO laid back,my x-gf, the 2 males have NO problems with each other or other cats, but the recently introduced elder female HATES the two males??
At the very most one cat won't interact with the others.
