A spillproof bowl like the Road Refresher, but made of stainless steel.

 

Better swim and boating vests for deep chested dogs such as poodles, doodles, and whippets. Problems I've encountered with most vests now on the market:

• Most don't have long enough belly straps to fit a deep chested dog
• Going up a size means the vest is too long. It interferes with the hips and with the upright tail of a poodle or some doodles
• The belly straps of many vests are set too far back; they interfere with the dangly bits on male dogs (especially if you have had to go up a size to get the vest to fasten around the chest.)
• Some vests are too stiff, and the dog can't lie down comfortably while riding in a boat
• Some vests don't have enough flotation to keep an exhausted dog afloat long enough to be rescued
• Weak handles and leash clips. I want good sturdy straps I can grab hold of to hoist the dog back into the boat

Additional nice to have features:

• High visibility colors
• A vertical fin or flag to make the dog more visible in open water. Removable fin would be even better
• Pockets large enough to hold leash, tennis ball, poop bags, and/or a geo tracker

 

A bag that stays open firmly when open, & has compartments for organizing doggie stuff.

There are many bags out there, even bags designed to carry doggie stuff, but most of them do not stay open firmly. When you're handling leashes and things that easily get tangled up while holding your dog by one hand, it's really useful to have a bag that can stay open firmly (i.e., an accidental bump won't close the bag).

I've been using an ADK Packbasket (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ODQ4JRW). It uses a metal frame to stay open. It works for me, but it would be nice to have something like it plus:

1. compartments
2. hooks for hanging collapsible dog dishes
