So Thursday am went to feed the kittens in the washroom, Boots were missing. Finally found his little body under the tree in my backyard, he had obviously entered my yard when I wasn't looking and was killed by the dogs. WE buried him next to his brother from the previous litter who had a similar fate. I'm calling the shelter on Tuesday and hoping to arrange for them to take his remining two brothers and sister. At least they will have a chance at a good life in a loving home.
But my question is regarding their "big brother" Livingstone, a now six month old male. I'm thinking of asking the shelter if they will help me rehome him into a loving home too. He's a B&W stunning kitty and a lover boy with a purr like a parrafin tractor. He will climb your legs to beg for attention and if you get distracted while you're giving him attention he sill continue to give you "love bites" very inhibited. Two nights ago I had to "save" him from the tree in my front yard where the dogs had treed him and with us going on a week long holiday week on next I'm scared he will enter my yard and my Domestic Worker who will be pet sitting won't be able to help him. Meg is not the easiest dog to get to come inside if she's "guarding" a cat in the tree.
AM I being ridiculous?
