Looks like Purina is recalling an RX cat food for low levels of thiamine discovered by FDA testing after a complaint was filed with the FDA. This recall is unrelated to the salmonella recalls.
"This product was distributed to veterinary clinics between June, 2011 and May, 2012 throughout the U.S. and Canada. The product is not sold in retail stores."
It sounds like this product has possibly been on the shelves for almost a year, and they're just recalling it now?
