My COMPLETE Fail!

So I was taking home a cat that was up for adoption at the vet's i work at cus his sister was adopted and so I felt bad cus he was all alone. He was born at the vet's office's other location and has been there for 5 months (actually now almost 6)

Well all weekend I was complaining how I would be so heartbroken and jealous of whoever adopted him and my BF comes up from the basement and suddenly asks me "so am I getting the impression that you want to adopt Jacob?" and I am like "Don't ask me these kinds of questions!!!!!!" and of course can't stop a smile from spreading to my mouth. and he is like "to be honest, he won't be all that much work and when you and Emmy (my dog) go back up to MD, Rowan (my cat) won't have anyone to play with" (he was talking about my dog and Rowan playing) and then he said "This comes with ONE CONDITION, you are not allowed to bring home anymore animals not under any circumstances, you are not allowed to do anything nice for the animals at the vet again"

I am such a failure. I told him "didn't I tell you a long time ago that this is why I could never be a fosterer? cus I would end up hoarding all the animals"

Anyways, Jacob is now our new baby :D (apperantly he and his litter was named after Twilight characters)

I'll post pics at some point, my camera phone ones were so bad.. sigh.. I am happy, but I just don't know how people can seperate their hearts when they foster.. ;)

This AM I phoned where I work to tell them before someone else jumped at the chance to inquire about him (not that he was getting adopted anyways but still JUST in case ya know? lol) and the receptionist couldn't stop laughing and was like "I knew this would happen I knew It!" I was like "oh be quiet!" so yea..

It's kinda a coincidence I guess. We decided to adopt a black cat on Halloween, who is named after a Twilight character which has to do with halloween-type creatures such as vampires and werewolves. I am tempted to call him Warlock,, cus I don't care for Twilight or human names in animals unless they are for a certain unique reason, are unique names themselves or really do sound good for them.

A complete fail because the 1st night I brought him home my BF gave me a stern look and said "you aren't going to get attached right? You will give him up when he needs to go to his home right??" and I said "no definitely I don't want another cat right now" I forgot to get pics of him this morning I'll have to post some by tomorrow I guess.

Rowan, Jacob and I, It took a bit of wrangling to get them both to me, Rowan is getting fat so you can't pick her up wit one hand anymore :p and as soon as my BF took one pic, Rowan made a break for it, thankfully it turned out well:

Aww, he's gorgeous! My first cat was a black cat (as well as the next 3 or 4 I had LOL). They're great. Maybe name him Shadow? You said "the shadow cat" and I thought that would be a cute name for him. :)

I WAS gonna read the Twilight book series but then the movies came out and everyone went psycho over them, so I said forget it.

LOL yeah, I'm glad I read them before all the hype. They're really, really good. I think all the attention it gets (and the age group it represents) really deters people from reading the books, but they're really, really good. I read all the books (except breaking dawn because it came out a little later) before I even knew they were making a movie (needless to say I was PUMPED that they were making a movie out of it, because I was -and still am- obsessed with the books) and I'm really glad because I got to really enjoy the books before all of the publicity. I recommend them to everyone though, they're awesome. I'm reading Twilight right now for the 9th time, HAHA!
