My 2 year old yorkie mix female poops in the house every day. Why? It’s like she is marking her territory. She is potting trained and does poop outside. What is the problem

It’s frustrating when a potty trained dog starts going inside! Since she does poop outside, this could be a behavioral issue possibly anxiety, a change in routine, or marking behavior. Health issues like digestive upset or parasites could also be a factor. Try keeping a consistent schedule, limiting unsupervised indoor access, and praising her outdoor potty trips. If it continues, a vet check or consultation with a dog behaviorist might help pinpoint the cause.

Dogs do not mark territory by pooping. They use urination for that.
As mentioned above you need to give more information so that we can give you focused advice on how to approach this problem.
But the very first thing you need to do is take the dog to a vet to make sure that there is not a medical problem causing this. Do not wait on this, do it right away. You cannot treat a problem as if it is behavioral unless you have ruled out a medical issue FIRST.

you would be suprised how super hero powerful poop and pee is lol .. give some examples.... that make me giggle all these years later.

Had a basement room. My door was open with my 2 adult males with me. Bob my friends husband came down to the basement passed my room walked down the hallway to the back of the basement to get some tools. My male got up and pee'd a line across the basment hall way. I yelled out to Bob that he was know trapped because Darien blocked him in.. How that dog pee'd a straight line across that small space still amazes me.

Was out camping very off trail backwoods area in WY. All 3 of my dogs would pee and poop in a circle around my camp and redo it every couple of days. When someone drove in during the middle of the night/early morning very close to where I was, my dogs wouldn't let them out of their vehicle and in the morning when I woke up. I was startled to see a vehicle parked so close to me. My dogs were right next to my tent and I was wondering what happen while I was sleeping looking back and forth at the dogs and the vehicle that had people inside looking over at me. They open the door when they saw me. Then the guy started cussing cause one of the dogs took a big dump right infront of his car door that he stepped in. He said the dogs kept coming over and circling their vehicle everytime they try to get out after they drove in. (need to realize this is a huge area, way off of main roads and houses) Odd that they saw my vehicle and want to drive up and want to drive and park right up next to it in the middle of the night and then stay there til morning cramed in a vehicle (hatch back) instead of pulling out and moving further away?????? After seeing me and talking they got back in their vehicle and left. not move to another area, drove out of the area.. Love my dogs.. They didn't bark ( I would of woke if they had) at them just trott over and circle when they tried to get out, then trott back over to my tent to lay down and watch them when the guys settled back in the vehicle.

Building our homestead. There was a dumpster at the front of the property that I put the Dogs raw food boxes and bags in to be picked up every 3 weeks. The trash guy and myself often stood there and admire that my 7 gsd's had put a (perfect) large circle of poop around that dumpster. We wondered if the dogs knew how perfect that circle was, cause neither of us as humans could draw a well formed circle less poop one lol lol .. (adding) non of the bears or large cats, coyotes ever bothered that dumpster.

The wild life trails through our property during walks along the new fence line they would run up ahead and poop where the trail entered the fence line.

One of my CO's who always treated my husband like an intruder since he worked overseas and came home on leave.. My husband using the RV as his office space. My CO would leave a huge pile of poop right at the bottom of the last RV step.

They do mark with both pee and poop... Think pee is like a warning and poop is just a death sentence lol lol ...

do hope you find the change that has cause your pup to poop.
is there any more animals in the house, is there anything stressful happening at the time you pup poops.. is all I can add to what others have already suggested.
