I've been so caught up with all of Zeke's behaviours I haven't gotten a chance to introduce you all to my first baby!

This is Marie. She is a 5 year old question mark (the shelter thinks she may be part Persian) whom I adopted from the RSPCA when I was volunteering. She was 4 weeks old and on death's door after being abandoned with her 2 bothers near a lake. She was TINY. The shelter didn't think she had a chance so they let me take her home. It was like having a newborn. She would wake up multiple times a night and need to be fed with a syringe. She needed to be with me constantly. She now weighs a very healthy 5.5kg :)

She does have a couple of issues - she is terrified of men and running water - but she is absolutely perfect and I can't believe she was once so close to death. My little miracle baby.

Marie is beautiful! I have 2 cats myself, Poppy I got from a lovely family who's cat had had an accidental litter, then 5 years later we got Tilly from rescue, she was a feral kitten, but has been the most loving of cats. My daughter - against my better judgement - decided to buy a kitten advertised in the local paper. When she went to see the kittens, the house was filthy & the remaining kitten covered in fleas, the woman said she would just "get rid" of the kitten by the end of the week, obviously my daughter took her. She was told the kitten was male - wrong! This cat is now the most spoilt & loved cat ever. I still don't agree with what she did, how many more litters will the Mama cat have? But she saved this one cat & that has to be a good thing. :)
