Kinkalows... Thoughts?

So I recently joined and have become obsessed with Vine, the new social media site for videos. And there is a very popular acct for videos of a kinkalow cat, named Yoda. Talk about adorable!
He is a cross between munchkin and scottish fold. I want to kiss his face!
But looking at the body of this cat. It almost seems inhumane to breed these tiny cats. Obviously the munchkin breed has these traits naturally, but crosing them with something else. It seems the health problems would be endless.
Anyone have an expertise with these breeds?

Ugh, no direct experience, but both the munchkin and the scottish folds have to be carefully bred because picking the wrong pair could mean a seriously deformed or dead kitten. I suppose at yes, they don't have the SAME problems, so crossing them would be unlikely to result in those problems, but I'm extremely not keen on the idea....

Just seems like a bad idea with poor judgement. No matter if its dogs or cats, most of the time when breeding for a "designer breed", they aren't recognized so there is no breed confirmation, and no possibility of showing the animal, or using it for its working purpose, since there isn't one. So obviously they aren't picking carefully which animals to cross. Seems very irresponsible, and money drive.. sad.
