So we have kittens under our house  We've spent the last couple days trying to catch them and we have one. I think there is 2 of them so the trap is back out. I think we found a program at a vet office in Tally that is going to take them in. The pictures aren't great but I don't want to freak it out with a flash. It's been eating and even ate off of my finger. My husband petted it with his finger and it purred. Good sign?

We decided it's a girl (only because she looks like a girl) She is surprisingly friendly. She starts purring before we even touch her and she let's us hold her already  She is very thin and has a mark on her nose. It's going to be Monday before we can take her to the program so I guess we have a house guest. I've been treating her like I would a dog who is underweight. I've been giving her small amounts of food every couple hours. I'm super surprised at how quickly she has taken to humans. In the one picture I am holding a paperback book up to show how small she is she is looking at me around the book.

She is so cute. I would guess female too based on her coloring. Rare to be a male with that. I bet she will find a home easily being so lovely and friendly.

How great of you to help them. Goodluck catching the others.

I always find some cats just are very willing to be friendly, even more so when food is involved. Like they just know you are nice and are helping. She is so skinny I bet she is very thankful!

We think the mom moved the other kittens no sign of them. We still haven't found a rescue to take her apparently it's kitten season. She is doing well and has put on some weight. Saturday there is a couple of adoption events and we are going to try and get one of the other rescues to take her.

All of the groups around here are doing $9.00 adoptions too. Animal control has done a few free adoption days too.

Good news (maybe) I am waiting to hear back from a Vet clinic in Tallahassee who may take in the kitty yayyyy.
