I am a nervous wreck! I have never had a girl kitty before, and she is being spayed today! I got her about a month ago, when the neighbors moved they threw her outside, because the new apartment wouldn't let them have her. (They also left a dead ferret in the apartment :( ... Very horrible people.) So I asked if I could take her, she is a flame point and seal point Siamese cross.

She is a sassy beast! She tried to bite me when I put her in the kennel to leave this morning! Anyways, any words of wisdom? I have only ever had boy dogs, and kitties!

I haven't noticed a difference between boy and girl cats. I think behavior has to do with personality more than gender. I've had pissy boy cats and pissy girl cats (and loving ones). :) Someone did mention that they thought girl cats took longer to warm up to new people, but I don't think that's been the case in my experience. Just give her lots of love and treats. She's a beauty.
