Does anyone else find grooming their cats incredibly relaxing? Tonight was our weekly grooming night with the cats. We have six purebred Siberians so that is a lot of cat to groom!
Everyone got a brush out, got their ears cleaned, and got their nails trimmed. They also get bathed once a month but that is not really nearly as relaxing as the regular weekly grooming.
We generally groom while sitting on the bed and there is just something sort of zen about the whole thing. A chance to just relax and spend time with each cat as an individual.
They seem to enjoy it too! though perhaps it is more about the bit of chicken they get for letting me clip their claws.
