Is da best toy for cats. Srsly, my cat is obsessed with it. She sniffs at the game closet (where we keep it) and carries the end around in her mouth if we leave it out. It's a fisher-type toy, but it has a super long handle, and the toy at the end spins in the air. If you have a cat, you must try it.

ooOoo I've heard of it, but have never seen it for sale....another good one is the "cat dancer"...my guys like it (the dogs too)
my cats LOVE da bird too! we have to hide it in the closet or they will destroy it... it is so cute too, when they play with it they all take turns, politely.... fawkes likes to jump for it, jasmine likes to chase it across the floor, and samantha likes a little mixture of both...

Yeah, I was surprised at the price. Someone mentioned it in the cat forum (different website) and then I happened to see it in a locally owned pet shop a few days later for about that price, so I got it. I like that you can replace the toy at the end; all fisher toys should have that option. Whatever it's made out of and its shape makes it flip around better than any other toy. After I put it away Pineapple will meow mournfully for awhile. It's pretty funny.
they advertise it on "the cat sitter" have you seen that? it is a dvd for cats, pictures of birds and mice and stuff... my cats love that too... lol, we put a little scratching post in front of the tv, for them to sit on and all 3 will curl up and watch it!
perhaps the Villain needs this toy...I sense boredom in him....

I haven't seen the cat sitter. I'll have to try that once Pineapple is out of the bathroom (she had a stress oops, and we're moving back to being in the bathroom if she's home alone). She loves watching TV.
The Cat Dancer looks good too; I'll have to get that. Is that at bigger stores (Petsmart?)?
I want to try one of those battery operated toys (I'm lazy), but I think she'd just lose interested after a minute or two.

i keep meaning to look for the dancer... i have a remote control mouse, it would be cool, but it doesn't seem to charge properly... there are those little remote control cars that are similar, but work better
