Any recommendations of good toothbrush to brush my dog's teeth?

Your vet will probably have dental products for sale or can recommend. Pet stores carry these supplies as well.

I find the finger cuff brush more accepted by dogs. No different then putting just your finger in their mouth. A lot of dogs will fight any kind of stick brush unless taught young.

I have to disagree with you Lynne. Dogs can learn to like teeth brushing at any age. Mine I rescued as adults and get their teeth brushed with a regular tooth brush daily. Those finger brushes are good for learning but don't do a very good job. Once the dog is used to it a real toothbrush should be used.

You are correct ZoesMom a dog can be taught. When a client tells me their dog will not let them brush, they always say they are using the brush. When I suggest the finger cuff they have no problems.

Petroyalty no matter what brush type you use be sure the teeth are clean/tartar free. It is worthless to brush tartar. I do not brush my own dogs teeth. I do however give them plenty of things to chew on which does help with tartar. If they happen to get a little tartar build up I scale it off.
