Hey everyone, :)

My dog is 9 years old, and I love taking him for walks... Problem is every time he's been on a walk he pees in the house! :( even though he has peed a load of times during the walk...

However when i don't take him for a walk for a while, he's perfect and doesn't pee at all indoors...

I really cant wrap my brain around why this happens ;/

Any tips?

Welcome to the forum.
I would have him checked for a urinary tract infection. He could feel the need to continue going after he goes on the walks due to inflammation.

No i haven't gone to a vet, he doesn't pee all the time thats why i don't think he's infected, only when after being on a walk, like he will go in the garden pee there and not pee indoors but when he's been somewhere outdoors he pees indoors in the same spots.

Does he hike a lot on the walks? If so he still could have a UTI making him feel like he still has to go once he gets home. In the garden I am sure he goes to one spot..or same area and goes once. I would just have it ruled out so if not then look to behavior changes for another reason.
