I have a four and a half month old pit puppy who's left ear is all over the place haha. I know it's probably too early to tell, but I'm curious if you guys think her ear will eventually stand up or not?

I think she would look much more cute with the ear keeps doing what it wants...lol...nothing like a dog with one floppy ear : )

Pitbull ears shouldn't naturally stand up unless they've been cropped.

^It's not a pitbull. It's a bull breed mix. Lots of them have prick or semi-prick ears.

Lots of pit mixes have ears that stand up! It doesn't matter either way, I'm just curious

Oh, that is an exceptionally cute puppy... I love dogs with crazy ears! Apparently ears can do all sorts of things when puppies are teething, so you will possibly still have a variety of "ear-do"s before they make their mind up That said, I think/guess it probably won't go all the way up, and will either rose like the other one, or may stay combover style like it is now. My dog Haley had combover ears, but the one that fell over her head would often stick partway or completely up, we joked it was her "sharkfin"! Rarely the other ear would also stand up at least partially as well, but she never really developed full prick ears.
