Hello everyone :) I have a 4 month old husky/German shepherd mix. Although, it really doesn't matter (she's gorgeous regardless) I was wondering if it looked as though my puppy's will be standing?

I still talk to the original owner and he informed me the other puppies ears have stood up, so I was just curious. I've attached some pictures the first is of1.5 month, the 2nd is of 3 months and the last is of today!

Thanks guys :)

If you want them to stand you may need to look into taping. Your vet can help you with this. From the looks of things it does not appear that his/her ears will stand on their own.

I am also saying no, they should have well and truly been standing.

I would question the breed specifics, as both of those should be standing ears, but her ears (and her head shape) look to me like she is Husky x Labrador mix?

Either way, it won't matter, as she is super cute! :)

It does not look like your puppy, who is awfully cute will have upright ears. Most puppys who will have upright ears as a grown dog will hold there ears up half the time. Here is an example my dog Asha through puppy hood

(btw hi Schnecke who also has an Asha and lives in Australia :) )

Asha at 4-5 months
Dog Mammal Canidae Dog breed Carnivore

Also at 4-5 months
Dog Dog breed Canidae Mammal Carnivore

6-7 months
Dog Mammal Vertebrate Canidae Dog breed

And now at 2 years (both ears should be upright but she broke the cartilage in one at around a year old)
Mammal Dog Vertebrate Dog breed Canidae

He there, I've raised and owned both breeds. They are both prick eared breeds, so they should stand. It does look a husky/Shepherd mix, but something else could be in there throwing the ears off. Be patient, it just might happen. One may go up while the other is down and vice versa.
But really, a gorgeous pup whether ears up or down.;)
