. Maybe I'll strike a deal with my husband by telling him that if I get to name the first dog, he'll get to name the second dog! Haha, we'll see.
Argyle doesn't take a long time to say. Seems slightly better than Halifax for speed of saying it. Also, as for recall and quick responses, Ari comes to mind.Argyle is a nice name. It comes with one issue though working dogs respond well to short single or double syllables really well. It might be a good idea to think about a different name for recall and quick responses because argyle takes a long time to say.
Argyle is two syllables: Ar-gyle.Hal-i-fax and Arg-y-le have the same amount of syllables...so I don't see how that's a determining factor between the two choices. I also don't think 3 syllables is overly long for a dog's name.
