Where do I start learning about cats?

Hello there! I have never owned a cat before and am considering getting a non-dog pet in the next few years since my girl is older and a puppy or a dog may be too energetic for her. She's lived with a free-range rabbit in her younger years and while she chases animals outside of the house, she is docile inside and I have tested her with a friend's cat and she didn't seem to mind. Sure, she pointed and then poked the cat but she ended up grabbing her toy and made me throw the ball for her. After that, she tried to play with the cat a few times (play bow, wagging tell, etc...) but quit when the cat didn't seem interested. As for learning about cats, I have no idea where to even start since I've never had one before so any advice is appreciated.

You can become member of the cat forum: Cat Forum
I also suggest watching Kitten Lady and Jackson Galaxy on youtube, they both have great information, if you would like to read a book I suggest Think Like a Cat.
Oh, I tried to join that forum with the same username I have on this forum but got banned for copyright reasons because of my username. Also, thanks for the advice!
Good luck!

Check for a cat that is fine with dogs, or a kitten. Make sure that your dogs won't be aggressive to a new member
I've already let her meet one of my close friend's cats and while she seemed interested, she didn't point, stalk, or start whining. How do you know if a cat is fine with dogs?
Oh, I remember how I was scared and confused when I bought the cat for the first time. I knew almost nothing, but my friends helped me a lot and told me about everything, from the best food to cat clothes stores. Also, I recommend you read about cat fitness tracker, their benefits, and so on. Also, there is info about a few of the best trackers, and you can choose the one you like the most.
But make sure to fact check info found on YouTube
Rescues, they are bit of work as food, human touch or toys does not work.
I have a pretty solid cat which finds new pheromones pretty nasty 😝.
She has the space without getting nasty or running. But in the end?
She is the great leader of our weird pack here.
