This is Louie! He’s 5 years old and I’ve had him since he was 1 when I adopted him. I was told he was a Morkie, but I was under the imprsssion that Morkies are much smaller!

He’s 22 lbs (slightly overweight)
Standing probably 12 in off the ground

Going to get a DNA test soon but was curious and wanted some thoughts before I invest in one.

Usually the Yorkies and Maltese they use for the crosses are not the typical small specimens of the breed. They may still be purebred but are generally bigger sized to start with as they can be purchased at a lower price and can produce larger litters.

Looks like some kind of Maltese Yorkie mix but I'm not saying for sure. It's a good idea to give him a DNA test.

Theres a story doing the rounds on social media that a journalist sent a buccal swab of his own saliva to one of these DNA sites and the results showed he was collie crossed with spaniel (or something like that, don't quote me). ;) So good fun but don't rely too heavily on the results being accurate.
