If you just want purebreds, I'll leave out cockapoos from my list. But they would be #1. Otherwise, in no particular order:

-American Pit Bull Terriers
-Australian Shepherds
-Cocker Spaniels
-And since I can't choose just one, I'm just going to say most of the toy breeds- Pugs, Shih Tzus, Chihuahuas, Coton de Tulears, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, etc.

I know the number was four, but here are some runner ups that I just couldn't leave out.

-Bernese Mountain Dog
-Kooikerhondje (although I've never met one in real life and may never since they're so rare in the US)
-Bulldogs
-Great Danes
-Border Collies
-Standard Poodles
-American Eskimo Dogs

Just 4? HA! That's funny. I'll try.

In no real particular order...

Siberian Husky...because I have one (well, half of one)
Great Dane
Doberman
Vizsla

I am leaving out so many...

Anyway...I think this will be much more fun with pictures so here goes:

That was really hard....I have so many more...

1) Border collie
2) Shetland sheepdog
3) Standard poodle
4) Papillon

Basically, anything that's intelligent with a crap ton of energy is right up my alley! Belgium Malinois almost made that list as well, as did the Australian shepherd and the Queensland/cattle dog
