Sorry to hear you lost a friend my Condolences.
It sounds like Owen's going to go a long way in helping you heal after the loss of your friend and of Caleb. It sounds like he's a wonderful dog and he looks beautiful and happy. I'm glad you were there for him. : )
One of the best dogs I had, was Harper (the one in my avatar photo). I adopted her from a shelter, she had been there a year...placed there by family members who did not want her after her owner passed away. I felt like I found a diamond (a huge 120 pound diamond)...when I got Harper home and saw what a delightful happy dog she was...so, in seeing Owen get a good home, it makes me feel extra glad he didn't have to spend any time in a shelter before doing so.
