Here's one for the books! We have two Westies, one a femail who was just spayed. This alone has been kind of a problem, and she is feeling pretty testy and ready to fight her older pal, who she has been the best of friends with for all the year since we brought her home.

But that's a problem that will hopefully pass. I was not very nice after my own hysterectomy, and I'm hoping she will calm down.

HERE'S THE REAL PROBLEM, and it is weird. Several days ago, the Westies, ever on the alert as ratters, appeared to chase something down a heat vent in our living room. We have no idea what it might have been: a mouse, a bug, who knows. They have been obsessed with the vent every since. It is under a table, and we put a LARGE and heavy book over the vent, which covers the whole thing. Yet they are still obsessed.

Any suggestions?

I suggest you take the book off as you will be getting no heat coming up thru the vent in that room. Then check under the house that the pipes are attached & check theres not a mouse or bug stuck in your system. Also check they havnt chewed holes in the pipes as they are usually that insulation silver material. I would also look at using some means of getting rid of the mice- bugs etc. The dogs will keep doing that while theres things down there.

Sorry I did not see this, my eyesight isn’t the best, and I couldn’t see that there were any replies. We’re having work done on our house, and I’ll ask that this be checked out. Thanks.
