my GSD/Lab has a very thin waist hes 25 inches tall, 31 rib cage and 24 waist. his waist sinks in quite a bit. hes very active and always running/playing all day he gets two big bowls of food a day. hes a year and 3 months right now, and still a stud. hes about 75lb.

he broke his shoulder 3 months ago but is doing fine it sticks out a little and limps but our vet says hes OKAY!.

any way to get him a little fatter? to a normal weight hes ball obsesed and wont eat or drink if we are out there. but they have left their bowls full during the night and some mornings and they wont get eatten all day.

He may just be a naturally thin dog. Does he have any medical conditions? Check and treated for worms recently?
If you post some pictures we could tell you if he's actually thin or just lean
He also might still be filling out. My late lab didn't fill out completely till almost her 3rd birthday

Honestly, he looks good to me. A pound or two wouldn't hurt, but I don't think it's vital. A little on the thinner side is better then slightly fat
