We adopted our dog from a shelter just over a year ago and he received the following vaccinations (see attachment). He is a couple of months overdue for his booster/second shot (due in september) however i have rung up a couple of vets and they are all telling me a different type of vaccination i need to get? Which is the correct one. Most are saying C7? ( I am also in Australia)

I can't quite make out what your picture says, but from what I can see it's saying he received the C4 vaccines, along with kennel cough. Basically from what I can learn (I'm in the U.S.A.) C4 is the core vaccines, which are parvo, distemper, and infectious hepatitis; along with parainfluenza. From there each time the number after C goes up they add something else. Poking around enough I learned that the C6 and 7 vaccines include Lepto, which if you live where there's a lot of standing water and wild animals could be good because Lepto can be deadly. https://www.choice.com.au/outdoor/pets/health/articles/pet-vaccination https://bowwowinsurance.com.au/pet-community/pet-talk/puppy-and-dog-vaccination-schedules-and-vaccination-costs/ Whether you need to do the non core vaccines depends on where you live and what contagious dog viruses are prevalent in your area. Vets may be seeing a lot of corona or lepto where you live and that may be why they are recommending C7.
