If she is in permanent discomfort that the vet cannot resolve it may be time to PTS. It broke my heart 2 years ago when I had to put 2 down due to age related illness. I wish you the best.

There comes a time when as a loving dog owner we must decide if the quality of life is going to improve, or if the best thing we can give our companions is a release from pain and suffering. It is an unselfish act of love and only you can make that decision of , 'quality or quantity?'
