Hi there guys, I have had little Cherry (teacup toy poodle) for about a month now and 2 days ago we gave her a bath and found that she had these small microscopic red parasitic thingies on her. They were very small and they look like tiny moles but she didn't have any when she got here.. She's an indoor dog so God knows how she got 'em :( Bought her to the vet and the doctor said that they might be dust mites, but I'm a doubtful person so I'm just gonna post the picture here and see if you guys have seen anything like it. Cherry is alone so there are no other pets besides some fish in the pond outside, but she mostly stays indoor.

what did the vet do to treat them?

Was she given an injection, sprayed, powdered, given an Rx for an oral med, ________ ?

DUST MITES?!? - on a dog? :ponder: Dust-mites aren't red, for 1 thing. 2, they don't infest dogs - they live on furnishings in human homes, or things we carry along - pillows, cushions, mattresses, carpets / rugs, unwashed bedding, etc, etc.
