Hello everyone~

So, we are the proud parents of two puppies. One is a 4 month old German Shepard mix, Koba (we got a month ago), and the other a 6 month old Lab/Husky mix, Casper (we have had for a week now). It certainly is a lot of work. And we are committed to them and raising them to be well trained dogs. They are really good with each other. However, when they play, they seem to get pretty rough with each other. And I'm especially worried that the larger one will unintentionally hurt the smaller one. There is no aggressiveness in their play, or growling. Its just really rough.

We don't allow them to play for periods of 10-20 minutes or longer together without separating them. We walk them separately, train them separately, and crate them separately. Im wondering if there is any other advice or suggestions as to what we can do that will help with this. Thank you.

They are puppies. They are gonna play. If one is hurt they will let the other know and they should back off. I know it looks scary but theyre fine! Let them play and eventually theyll tucker each other out and probably fall asleep happily.
