We tried Trifexis for 2 months, and each time for about a week afterwords our dog was sick. Just couldn't keep food down... has anyone else had issues with this med?

No issues here. Abby's been on it for 8 months without issue.

I havent had any issues with my dogs. Are you giving it with a meal? Apparently one of the major side effects is vomiting though.

It's best to check in with your vet to see what they suggest. I loved the fact that it was going to be cost effective for my big dogs but I had some trouble with it. I followed the instructions to feed with a meal and that kept my dog from barfing it up - most of the time. Both of my dogs would also get itchy afterwards and I noticed on the commercials they are finally saying that itchy-scratchy is a side effect.

The last few I gave I had to get real creative to get my dogs to eat it. So instead of forcing it down I took their hint and just went back to the topical.

We changed back to the topical also. After checking with the vet, it seemed safer as the topical does not go directly through their digestive system.

I've had this problem as well as a change in her coat color down her back. She's shedding like crazy and apparently skin irritation is also a side effect.

My old dog had terrible problems with it, so after the second dose we went back to the topical. I didn't even try with Kabota.
