We are thinking of visiting my bf's family in WI in February. Last time we went, we drove through the US to get there. This time, my bf wants to drive through Canada. I want to bring Aspen. Any idea of what I'll need to get her through Canada and back into the US? She's up to date on every vaccine that I know of (even ones that aren't required where I live) and she's registered with my town, not sure of any of that matters. :)

I think you need to have a certificates showing vaccinations...

Here's what the Canadian site states, scroll down the red information box until you get to 'pets'. You might also check what is a 'valid' certification. Your vet might have to fill out some special forms for you to present to the border guards. Otherwise, I think most vets just make notes on a pet's medical records...and a copy of that probably isn't going to work.

Canada Welcomes You!

Once in Canada and then coming home...you should also check to see what the USA requires for getting the dog back into the States.

Hope that helps
