I was wondering now that my dog just turned 1 a few days ago what are some good toys that will keep her busy. I know that rawhide is bad for the dogs but she doesn't like nylabones. I was wondering if anyone could give me some ideas of what there dog likes. As of right now we have the basics like kongs, balls, ropes and a few nylabones and some plush toys that don't last long. She does rip through things very easily and is a very aggressive chewer.
Busy bones, Busy Buddy toys, stuff the kongs with treats and peanut butter or kong eze cheese. You can try Himalayan chews and antlers instead of nylabones if she doesn't like them. Bully sticks too.
My boy is a aggressive chewer also. I can't give him any cloth, rope or fabric toys because he rips them apart and then eats them. The ripping part I can take the eating worried me so we only do rubber toys. He loves to chew on them but has yet managed to tear one apart to eat it. He also loves pig ears, bully sticks and his raw bones! Posted via Mobile Device
Plastic water bottles.. take the cap, plastic ring and plastic wrapping (if any) off it.
My niece has a border collie that LOVES shredding, tearing at stuff. Bottles are a cheap way of giving her dog a hard to destroy toy when she visits my home.
My dog, a golden retriever, HaHa, rarely damages his stuffed toys, mostly just likes to pack them around. : ) But, HaHa also loves plastic bottles because they are very noisy when biting on them...he loves things that squeak, honk, rattle..etc.
