A friend recently recommended that I purchase some Zippypaws toys for my two Miniature Schnauzers. After researching their products, I noticed some rather interesting toys that seem fairly popular. They're referred to as "Burrows." Essentially, they are three, small stuffed animals that are meant to be placed inside a larger stuffed toy. This allows dogs to "burrow" for the animals, pulling them out. Here is an example from their website: http://http://zippypaws.com/burrow-monkey.html

Before purchasing anything, I was wondering if anyone has any previous experiences with these Burrows, or Zippypaws in general. One of my Miniature Schnauzers has a tendency to rip arms, legs, ears, etc. off stuffed toys (and tends to eat them). Keeping this in mind, would the animals associated with the Burrows be destroyed within seconds? Or are they fairly durable? I'm still on the fence about buying a Zippypaws Burrow and am unsure if they would be appropriate for my dogs.

Nyla had one like that and destroyed it. All the little dogs in the house died ...and then the house they were in died. I'd get it but watch them with it.

Nola has one. One of the dogs is missing it's ears and legs, the other's squeaker is broken, and the third has no eyes. The house has tears around the holes in it, but she had fun with it.

That sounds like a fairly accurate description of most of the toys lying around the house. I guess I'll give one a try and see how quickly my dogs demolish it.
