Ok so it's been about 30 degrees for the last week or so and Indi has been acting a bit wierd. Well the only way she is acting wierd is that she doesn't seem to be very energetic, she doesn't get super excited when I come home and only bounces around for a little bit before going back to sleeping. She has been eating and drinking and her gums seem ok, a light pink? She had an infected cyst on her back just before Christmas and was on drugs but I accidentally forgot them when we went away so she didn't finish all of them, there is no lump there now so am
Not too concerned but thought I should mention it. She had one sloppy poo late last week but has seemed fine since then.
Any ideas or is It just from heat?

The heat defiantly effects my dog, he'll just lay on the tiles all day but in say'n that he does get playful later in the Arvo or nyt when it's cooled down. His been on tablets and gets injections that always seem to make him not himself for a couple off days and when he has been on tablets which is twice ,just been antibiotics I've never finished a full course. He also gets weird or snobby if i havnt spent the usual amount of time with him to, but a run at the beach always cheers him up. Anyways if your dogs eating and drinkn I think it's fine and if it's hot, his probably drinking more water then normal which would mix his food up in his gut a lot more.

Probably just the heat, but if you are worried, you might take Indi to the vet. You have enough things to consider, such as the cyst, and the loose poo, that it would be worth checking out.

Its normal for dogs to limit their 'activity' in the high temps, its even normal for them to not eat as much. As long as your dog is getting enough water it is fine!

And as far as meds, remember that you get a script for longer than the infection will last. Sometimes you can get away with forgetting a few doses, and it dosnt hurt to have extra anti biotics like ammoxicillan on hand for when you cant get to the vet!
but like mentioned above go to the vet if you feel it becomes serious enough!
