That doesn't look like a grass surface to me. And if you are going to train your dog to toilet on something like this, why not just train him to toilet outside? Devices like this give mixed messages about whether indoor toileting is allowed or not and slow house training. So unless there is good reason, these are not helpful for house training.

My question to you is if you have tried one before, because if you haven't I can understand your stand. Products like this helps Dogs not to mess our home around with unhealthy smells when we are just house training a dog.

No, there was no reason for me wanting to train my dog to toilet indoors, he was house trained to toilet outdoors from the start. No mess, cleaning up or smells indoors at all.
