For the last week or two, I have begun to suspect that my little2-year-old GSD mix Aria has a pancreatic disorder. back in April, she had a bout of extreme diarrhea and vomiting (the most foul-smelling diarrhea I have ever smelled). I rushed her to the vet and they gave her an x-ray (thinking it was a blockage), but everything came back fine. We were given antibiotics and instructed to follow a bland diet until it cleared up. It took 3-4 days for her to go back to normal.

Then again, at the beginning of July, I woke up to find the same type of puddle in our family room. Luckily, her annual checkup was that day, so we were able to get her more meds and the vet instructed us to watch what we feed her (we feed Taste of the Wild). This time it took Aria another 3-4 days where I would find her poo in the family room in the morning, it was like she couldn't hold it in for more than 5-6 hours in the night.

Now I have been really watching her for the past week. She threw up a treat I gave her (pork and sweet potato smart bone) and has been acting depressed for 4-5 days now. On Monday I went to the vet (without her) and told them my concerns, and they agreed that she will probably need full-panel bloodwork and a pancreatitis/EPI blood test, but the cost is $330. The vet gave me Science Diet I/D and prescription probiotics to try until next Monday, so currently she's eating that (she completely still has her appetite).

I have been on poop patrol at least twice a day. the past 3 days prior, she has had some grayish/greasy looking stools, and tonight it was more or a softer yellow (and I'm wondering if it's because of her condition or the newly prescribed meds).

I would love to hear your thoughts on all of this... I would also love to know what I can do to make her more comfortable right now. Does watering down kibble make it easier to digest? I have been making sure she drinks plenty of water.

Edit: Here's her photo. She has always been on the smaller side, between 45-50lbs. She's supposed to be around 75% GSD according to Wisdom Panel, but who knows...
