Sudden Fear Over Noises

In the past few months, Annie has gotten really bad over loud noises. As a puppy, nothing like this bothered her. My ex's dad even made comments about how she had no reaction to gunshots the few times we went squirrel hunting. A few years ago, I noticed Annie would get nervous over people arguing but I thought that was rather normal. She would simply go to a different room with her tail tucked. Within the past year or so, it has gotten so much worse. She has started reacting to gunshots, fireworks, TV, planes, wind making banging noises. Lately she has been pacing, panting, shaking quite hard, and hiding under my bed when she gets upset. I know of nothing that happened to make her so fearful like this all of the sudden. This is really upsetting for me because nothing I've tried can console her when this happens :/ I'm wondering if this could be hearing related? Is there anything I can do to calm her down?

I would have her checked by a vet to start. Could be a medical problem since it just started. You could try a thunder shirt to see if that helps.
