help! our 4 month labradoodle puppy has been getting progressively better with house training. BUT recently, we will have her out she'll do her business (usually 1-2 poops and 1-2 pees) and then we'll come back inside and a few min later she'll pee in the house!

we don't know if she is not learning that she needs to go outside or perhaps she is just trying to mark her territory inside?

any ideas?

we take her out pretty frequently (every 2-3 hours) and we give her treats/praise every time she goes outside.

4 months, especally for a large breed dog, is still very, very little. In human terms, she's still 2-3 years old, well within the range most humans are wearing diapers.

The best thing I've found to make sure dogs remember to "get it all out" is to run around with them. A puppy may need to pee several times because their bladders are so tiny and they get so very excited.
