I have had my Pomchi, Mochi since she was 9 weeks old. She was okay with potty training, though she did have accidents here and there. She is now over a year old. But things have gotten so much worse after we moved. It wasn't so bad when we first got here, but it seems like all of the sudden, even after she's been outside and has the opportunity to go, she'll force out small pieces of poop in my bedroom in one of two spots. It's gotten worse after my roommate got a kitten (who is fairly aggressive.) The problem is, she knows she's not supposed to do it because she immediately starts acting like she did something wrong and runs into her kennel.

It's been a rough transition, and I have to work a lot, and I wish I could leave her out of her kennel. I closed my bedroom door, but the last time I did that, she pooped right in front of the front door and it was a disaster. I'm just not sure why she continues to do it. No matter how many times I scrub those spots, she still goes back to them and the behavior continues.

I don't know what I can do here. Please help. It's really putting a strain on our relationship because I now can't trust her in my room so she has to sleep in her kennel at night, too. I'm frustrated.

Sounds like she needs a refresher course of housetraining 101. If you catch her in the act, tell her nom, immediately take her outside, hopefully to complete, then praise her and give her a favorite treat. Shouldn't take long for her, if she is treat driven, to catch on.

Are the accidents normal sized bowel movements and when she poos at other times are they normal? If they aren't, and are smaller, she might be constipated and is just trying to go whenever the urge strikes.

Instead of her kennel you could try setting up an exercise pen for her, it'll keep her contained but give her a bit more room during the day. If she does not destroy stuff you could put in some puppy pads to keep your floor clean in case she has an accident.

She doesn't know what she did is wrong, what she knows is that you are not happy when you see poo on your floor and she's trying to get you to not be angry at her.
