My name is dan and my dog is Cricket. She is almost 6 months old. she is a golden retriever. For some reason she will not go anywhere near the front of our house. She will stay close in the back yard when we take her out to "poop and pea." But if she hears a car go by, or maybe someone out in the front street, she will pull with all her might on the leash to run to the door, or if I attempt to get her to go outside, same response-have to coax her out. I cannot understand why she is so skittish and what is making her so afraid. We do not hit dogs, or yell and scream at them. I don't know of anyone who has had access to her or near her who might have made he so frightened. any suggestions or ideas would be most welcomed.
