Hi I have a 7 1/2 year old Great Dane. She has never had any accidents in the house. 4 times now over the last 2 months she has left a large very wet area on her bed or a carpet, it's a very fishy smelling liquid. I thought at first that it was her anal glands but it has a very strong ammonia smell with it. It does not smell like urine at all. I have also recently noticed a bumpy lump on her leg. I am taking her to the vet today but wondered if anyone else has ever seen (or smelled) anything like this. Thanks

That fishy metallic smell is usually the glands. I add prunes to the diet if this happens. XLarge dog cut up 4 prunes and add to the food. Get the kind without sulfur usually organic prunes. It helps keep the glands clean without expressing. Ask the vet to check them.
