This woman has a maltese and a shih tzu that had puppies together, she is selling the malshi puppies for $650, she said they have first shots, dewormed but no vet check? I thought the vet gives the shots tho? I am confused. Is this too much money for a puppy who hasn't been vet checked???

Why are you paying $650 for a mutt? The shelters are full of them for a lot less. This may help you decide.

No. You should not. You would supporting a back yard breeder (BYB) and that leads to more unwanted puppies that end up dying in shelters. If you want a maltese, a shih tzu or a mix thereof, check out your local shelter or rescues. Or, give us some idea where you are and we can help you find an ethical breeder to get a puppy from.
