My dogs, and cats, love to lick my body cream or, in the cats case my emulsifying ointment, both of these contain liquid paraffin. Jess last night literally licked the cream from the container, Lucky the cat will go for the emulsifying ointment jar or any left behind on the shower floor after my shower. Do my animals have something short in their diet? I haven't noticed that they're constipated, their coats are in good condition. The dogs food have omega 3+6 added, so why are they going after my cream?
its because it tastes so good! and they love to lick it off you! any cream that is! i have ezcema and dry skin so can imagine how much i get licked off? but do have it under control and if i say no Jessie will leave it alone

@crazy, I'm in exactly the same boat. OK Now I understand. I was just concerned. @Jeru, no, no open containers laying around. And Jess has a solid leave it. Both "stop licking me" leave it and " stop licking the container". As for Lucky the cat, physically removing him from the shower does the trick.
Jessie has got into the hydrocortisone, locoid lipocream, fatty cream you name it! Only one she hasnt got into yet so far is the 10% beta ointment with white soft parrafin but she loves to lick it off once its mostly dried in lol.

She has also got into so many face creams and hand creams ive had to keep them in a drawer from her. I cant leave them out.

She just enjoys the taste :) thats ok i was the same at first. ive had ezcema all my life
