So today we got a puppy who was living in poor conditions (straight up crack heads who can't even feed themselves,) and amongst cleaning the poor dog of the blood in its coat came across this weird looking Boyle on his mid section, not sure if it's normal or anyone has any idea in the slightest what it is...also were still deciding whether we'll be able to keep him because we have 2 dogs already and they're at camp so we don't know how theyll get along we are hoping the humane society can hold him for a few days and maybe help us clean him up and make sure he's healthy ( good luck with that though)

My guess...
Perhaps a hernia?
But really a vet will need to take a look in person to diagnose. Def something you'll want to get checked out asap.

Also, thanks for helping this little guy out no mater if you decide to keep him or place in a different home.:)

A past dog of mine had a umbilical hernia, not as big as what is on this pup though. Hard to tell in the pic, but is it centered on the belly or to the side? Is it attached to anything or free floating?
