(WORK DAY SCHEDULE BELOW) We have a 10 week old Cane Corso (Female), Mia. She is a great puppy when we are around. She lets us know that she needs to go out and then goes out and goes to the bathroom. She is relaxed and sleeps alot. We have had her for about 3 days now (Could be part of the issue) but whenever we leave for any time period, she goes to the bathroom. We first tried the crate and she went no matter the time frame and then tried a larger open area (our mud room) thinking she was just scared of the crate but still went. The crazy part is she sleeps through the night in her crate, in our room with no issues. I know that alot of the responses are that she is a puppy so it takes time but I want to head off any behavior issue since she is young and we have time to do so. I want to also mention that since it is the weekend (First Weekend), she has been with us, car rides and all, in case that has a weighing. Maybe we are spending to much time? She does stick to our legs or by us pretty much all the time when we are around. Any suggestions would be great, we love her and want to make sure she is brought up right and we don't instill poor behavior.
Schedule on Work Days
Wake up and take her out
Put her back in crate (It is small so she does not have to much space but enough so she can lay down)
Wife and I go run (About 30 or 45 min)
Return to a mess in the cage
Food her
Take her out until she goes
Leave for work
Someone comes around 11 and she makes a mess
