We have a 16week old lab mix puppy. He has been doing...ok...with house training. We generally keep him on a leash by our side and go outside literally every 25 minutes. Sometimes he gives no warning, and just walks around and pees. He doesn't lift his leg, or squat, just pees. If it was in a specific spot I'd say he's marking, if it was by the door I'd say my fault I missed it, but it's just where ever. Just walking and peeing. Does anyone have any thoughts? Suggestions? Methods? Kinda going a little crazy over here.

Thanks!

Barring any medical problems, he probably just doesn't have full control of his bladder yet. My dog Squash would do something this up until about 5 months old. He'd be playing, then look up and suddenly make a beeline for the back door... peeing all the way.
Well i researched a lot about UTI, and he meets none of the other criteria other than this. I've checked for blood, he never seems in pain, etc.

Its like he doesn't even know he's doing it. He doesn't bolt for the door, or hardly even change his gait. Just starts peeing wandering around.

And another thing i did fail to mention. He can hold it. We typically take his water away about 1.5hr before bed time, still give him an ice cube or two in his bowl so he can wet his tongue at least. We still go out every 20-25 minutes up until the last call for bed. He sleeps on a bed at the food our bed and so far has not had a single accident in the room during the night. He sleeps usually from about 10pm-6am. Doesn't wake us up to go out and no accidents. When I take him out in the morning he pees a lot. Which is great, and also tells me he is holding it.
