HI everyone
My border collies are all Thunder Phobic, so when heavy weather hits When I'm home I let them in to come and sleep in my bedroom. But now my thee year old female has developed a very bad habit. The moment she enters my bedroom, she suddently develops the need to pee and promptly empty her bladder on my carpets. Trying to get her to "go" outside beforehand just isn't succesfull, she is too scared, she just refuses to move away from the front door. The other two bitches just wait for the first break in the weather, then wake me and tell me "I need to go, open the door!" I was wondering if I could use puppy training pads and teach the older bitch to pee on them? I unfortunately can't roll up the carpet, it's wooden floor underneath and my bedroom floor is the living room ceiling.
Any other ideas I can try, please I need some advice. Thunderstorm season is supposed to be past, but suddenly last night again brought serious heavy weather.
