Hi! A beautiful morkie puppy has come into our possession and she is the runt. She is underweight and has a slight wheeze sometimes when she breaths. All of the vets we called are either booked out for ages or not taking new clients. Our first appointment we could get is March 15th. She was eating soaked kibble before we got her but she is refusing to touch it. She ate a bit of cooked chicken today but we need advice on what to feed her and about getting her enough nutrients and vitamins. Any help is much appreciated. We have fallen in love and will do anything to help her!

Try after hours emergency care. They are usually walk in 1st come 1st serve.

If you call a vet that has no openings for new patients, and they say their schedule is full, usually if you clarify that this is not a "well-visit", and that your dog has an issue, they will manage to fit you in- in my experience anyway. But yes, try an emergency clinic if they still won't take you.
