We currently have 4 dogs all around the same age. They are all potty trained however one of the dogs who is about 1 years old when put in the dog room for the day while we are work always has accidents in the room. He doesn't have accidents in any other rooms in the house. Any ideas on how to correct the issue since we are not home when he is doing this?

Use an enzymatic cleaner to remove the smell of his accidents.

Crate him during the day, not in the room and then slowly leave him in the room for longer and longer periods until he stops going in there during the day (you would have to do this training on the weekends when you are not working)

Or, put down pee pads and train him to go on the pads in the room during the day. But at his age, he can hold it, he just currently sees the room as somewhere that is ok to go in pee in, in which case, refer to above to break the cycle.

The problem is when we have had a few crates and he always breaks free of them. Would the pee pads help with the smell?
