Hello everyone! I am new to this forum, so please be patient with me while I figure out how it all works.
My 1 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback has been vomiting for a couple of days, and I have made an appointment for her to see the vet later this afternoon. My primary concern, however, is that last night when my husband sat next to her on the couch and went to cuddle with her (VERY normal gesture) she growled and snapped at him. She has never shown any signs of aggression in the past, especially never to us. Then this morning on a bathroom break, she wouldn't stop barking nervously at a man walking by. This has also never happened, she is usually very happy to see new people.
Is there a chance that her nervous/aggressive behavior could be directly linked to her current illness? I am extremely unnerved by this recent change in personality.
